No way, is it really that time of the year again already?
Time flies when you are having fun and so busy Santa will make a flying visit to The Corner Store on Jl. Lasmana on the 17th December, approximated landing time scheduled for 9am.
Don’t forget to bring your camera!! And time for a scrumptious breakfast!!
Check out Christmas Day at KUDETA as well, lots of activities for the little ones, a visit from Santa, eye candy for the bigger guys and a well deserved rest for the mums (and hopefully some eye candy as well!!)
http://kudeta.net/MagazineDetail.aspx?id=208
Whatever you will do on Christmas day and wherever you might be, don’t forget the not so fortunate little ones and give plenty whenever you get the opportunity.
The team from Bali Baby wishes everybody: existing and new clients, family and friends and everybody else on this beautiful planet we call Earth a Merry Christmas 2011 and a happy new year 2012.
See you soon, hohoho

Support Robin Lim in her quest to raise funds for the the Bumi Sehat foundation, to build more clinics for woman to give gentle birth to their babies and be cared for with love, the right equipment and under human conditions!!
In the first 8 months of 2011 alone, the Bumi Sehat foundation, set up by CNN Hero Robin Lim in Indonesia, has provided compassionate pre and post natal care for 20,500 mothers, as well as delivered 400 babies.
Every 15 minutes around the world, 23 babies die during birth, 28 are stillborn, and 86 infants under 1 month old die of various causes. She also reminds us that there are many mothers who die in childbirth.

…must be The Cubby House at The Semara in Petintenget!!
A brand new resort offering the ultimate in kid’s clubs experience on the island.
Of course, we haven’t see them all, but from what we have seen, this is the biggest one so far.
(And the beauty is: it is open to everybody, not just the guests at the resort (who do get a free session a day)
For IDR 100.000 your little ones (2-12) can spend 90 min in the house.
(Parents not allowed!!)
Our 9 year old son loved it!!
From Bey blade city to Lego Land to cinemas 1 and 2!!
There is an Art corner, PS3’s, 5 APPLE MAC computers, plus a safe play area for the really young ones.
You can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Semara restaurant or just cross the street and enjoy The Biku Tea House experience while your kids are well looked after.
(Don’t forget to pop your head into Namu across from Biku for the latest in Italian fashion, made on Bali, designed by Paola!!)
Open from 7am to 10pm the team from Bali Baby gives it the thumbs up!!

The Nyepi preparations are well and truly on their way and it was beautiful to watch the processions of the shrines through the streets down to the beaches this morning.
The only time of the year when I don’t get annoyed sitting in a traffic jam watching the proud display of the traditions being carried out on Bali.
So wonderful to watch, the colors, the beautiful smiles and gorgeous outfits and the work and believe that goes with it.
So make your way down to the beach today and watch the different Banyars displaying their holy shrines.
(And remember to wear a Sarong!!)
(And maybe go to your local Banyar and make a donation. Those Ogah Ogah’s are expensive!!)
Selamat Hari Nyepi to all and wellcome the year 1933!!
(My mum wasn’t even a twinkle in her parents eyes yet!!)

Time flies. Is it really Nyepi again soon?
My favorite day of the year on Bali where even the dogs seam to know not to make a noise!!
If you haven’t booked a hotel already to still be able to spend the day having fun in the pool (and in the kids club!!), do so soon, rooms are booking out fast.
Or you prefer the piece and quiet at home, having a candle light dinner, maybe a game with the kids and and watch the stars?!!!!
Well after all that piece and quiet here are some ideas of activities for the older kids to get rid of some energy:
Try a 2 hour trekking adventure in Ubud with www.baliecoadventure.com
Or be part a Hash run, finding bits of paper for direction through the Bali countryside with www.bali-hash.com
If you like riding your bike, take part in an ride through rice fields, discover parts of Bali you wouldn’t usually get to see and meet some locals. www.archipelago-adventure.com
Then of course there is the white water rafting along the Ayung river, if you dare not to get wet and being thrown about!! www.balisobek.co
Whatever you do, be sensible, look after yourself and those around you and have some fun!!
Cheers, the team from Bali Baby
