International Clean Up Day 2008

We at Bali Baby Equipment Hire care about the environment so comes Saturday 20th 2008 we will grab a bag and go down to our local beach and help clean up the beach.
Because whatever rubbish is lying around on the beach will end up in the ocean.

Trash in the ocean kills countless seabirds, marine mammals and sea turtles each year through ingestion and entanglement.

Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup is the largest and most successful volunteer event of its kind. Each year, thousands of volunteers from around the globe participate, clearing tons of trash from coastlines, rivers and lakes and recording every piece of trash collected.

This is more than a one-day event, it’s a year-round movement. The ocean is essential to the health of everything on our planet.

The International Coastal Cleanup brings awareness and action to one of the largest problems we face.
